Within the scope of the Horizon Europe Program Marie Sklodowska-Curie International Scholarship and Research Circulation Supports (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships 2022 call, our faculty member Dr. Özlem İpek Kalaoğlu Altan's project titled "Bio-based Hydrogels by Click Chemistry for Cartilage Tissue Engineering", acronym "ClickBioGel", was entitled to be supported by the European Commission.

The project aims to synthesize hydrogels with improved mechanical, antimicrobial and bio-adhesive properties through click chemistry using bio-based polymers and additives and to use them in the repair of cartilage damage.

It will be held under the coordination of Politecnico di Torino and will be attended by Prof. The budget of the project, in which Marco Sangermano participated as a consultant, is approximately 190,000 Euros.
